Have you ever wondered how a first word comes up to a child’s mind? An MIT researcher Deb Roy has committed several years of his life to finding the answer to this question.
He had set up a set of cameras in his house that recorded the first three years of the life of his son. After analysing a 200 TB of gathered data they came up with a couple of interesting theories of how a child learns its native language.
